Back on January 27th 2015 Massachusetts was treated to its first Winter storm of the year, #Juno. Today is President's Day, 2016 and so far Winter has been much kinder to us.  If you need a reminder of that, check out this video taken near my old apartment in Cohasset.

I Need Motivation To Workout . . . So I Watch Movies (Part 1)

If someone asked you to compile a list of methods that motivate you to workout, 'watch a movie' probably doesn't make the list.  Why would it?  Sitting still/eating snack foods doesn't really pair well with rigorous motion/calorie burning.  But, given the right movie choice, I'm arguing it can be done . . .

My fitness routine is broken . . . I haven't worked out in weeks . . . will I ever get my motivation back?

It's December 6th and Massachusetts is showcasing it's Winter features:  30-40 degree temps, piercing winds, rain/sleet mix, and snow accumulation.  At the same time, my motivation to work out has diminished.  

I'm in a rut, and I need to get out . . .

My Experience At The Cranberry Trifest 2014

This past Saturday I participated in the Sun Multisport Cranberry Trifest 2014 in Lakeville, MA.  I completed each leg of the event (.49 mile swim, 14.2 mile bike ride, 3.1 mile run) as an individual competitor and you can check out my results here:  Kevin O'Dea 2014 Results
