Snowboarding Is Good Exercise - But Can Be Painful (Video)

My wife and I spent Christmas with my family up in Vermont, and on 12/27/14 I got to enjoy a day at Bromley with my dad and two brothers.  This post includes a couple videos from the day that seemed worth sharing. 

Snowboarding Is Good Exercise
Mother Nature hadn't exactly cooperated with our plan, delivering rain the few days leading up to Christmas.  But Bromley prevailed, and the conditions were quite good given the circumstances.  
 
According to a couple online sources, including About.com's About Sports, an adult weighing 110-200 lbs can burn 250-630 calories per hour snowboarding.  We were the third group on the chair lift at roughly 8:30am and counted 8 total runs before we shut it down around 11:30am (the snow was starting to get slushy and the trails a bit crowded).
 
Snowboarding is good exercise, and I'm confident I burned off the calories consumed that morning courtesy of the sausage egg and cheese on a works bagel from The Works Bakery Café.
