Back on January 27th 2015 Massachusetts was treated to its first Winter storm of the year, #Juno. Today is President's Day, 2016 and so far Winter has been much kinder to us.  If you need a reminder of that, check out this video taken near my old apartment in Cohasset.

My apartment is part of the Avalon Cohasset apartment complex.  Somewhat elevated, the complex sits just off Rt 3A.  A few hundred yards past the entrance to the complex is a parking area with access to the Whitney and Thayer Woods.

What these pictures fail to show is the 20-30mph winds brought by #Juno.  It was a workout just walking through the snow to get to the trail head.
